  • How much horsepower does that SoilWarrior take?
    • 25-30 horse per row including hydraulic demands.
  • What is the tillage depth?
  • How much do the tanks hold?
    • Liquid: 2,200 gallons
    • Single bin: 160-bushel bin with a 5-ton total carrying capacity.
    • Dual bin on HD cart frame: Two–130-bushel bin with 8-ton total carrying capacity.
    • Dual bin on XL cart frame: Two–160-bushel bin with 10-ton total carrying capacity.
    • Triple bin: There is a Two–130-bushel bin and a 60-bushel bin with a 10-ton total carrying capacity.

  • What are the hydraulic requirements?
    • SCVs Two-seven depending on machine configuration.
  • What row spacings are available?
    • 20-inch, 22-inch, and 30-inch (36, 38, and custom configurations also available with additional lead time).
  • How fast can I go?
    • It depends on soil type, soil moisture, and fertilizer type/rate, but it is usually between 7-10 MPH.
  • Does the SoilWarrior need to be the same size as my planter?
    • No, it does not.  The SoilWarrior comes ready for both Active or Passive Implement Guidance which when combined with an RTK signal eliminate matching concerns.
  • How much fertilizer can the machine put down?
    • 30 lbs per acre -300 lbs per acre from each bin. Ground speed and the density of the fertilizer will affect these rates.
  • Will the strips warm up as fast as conventional tillage?
    • Yes, strip-till is conventional till where the planter is planting.
  • How does it work with rocks?
    • Our 3-coulter design does ride up and over most rocks.

  • How does it handle heavy residue?
    • With the lead coulter, most residue will not be a problem.
  • Will my current tractor and technology work?
    • Yes, the SoilWarrior comes with its own plug-and-play ISOBUS.
  • Can I put your row units on my toolbar?
    •  Yes. We recommend our Edge row units when you want to put our row units on your own toolbar.
  • How do you control depth?
    • Depth is controlled from the cab using air bags on the row units as well as toolbar tilt.
  • Can I cut back on my fertilizer?
    • We recommend working with your agronomist and analyzing your soil samples before cutting back on your fertilizer.
